CURIOSITIES ABOUT DISNEY IN ORLANDO

1- There are approximately 700 Mickeys around Walt Disney World, in things like drawings, brands, fountains, grass cuts, floors, sculpture's shapes, paintings and many other places. This was kind of a big deal because the magic in founding them inspired Steven M. Barret to write a book named "Hidden Mickeys".

2- Walt Disney wasn't able to see Magic Kingdom because unluckily:( he died 5 days before its inauguration.  

3- When Disney's Magic Kingdom Park inaugurated, the adult admission only cost $3.50.

Now the price is much higher.

4- Wherever you go on a Disney park you won't find bubblegum to buy and this is the reason why you don't find bubblegums on the floor, on the attractions or on restaurant tables. Disney staff are so worried with the park staying clean, that they even did a research to find out how many steps could someone give holding something without throwing it on the floor. Even Walt Disney participated on this trial. The final result was 25 steps, so the trash bins were all placed with 20 meters of distance of the others.

5- Disney is so careful with keeping the magic, that you will never see two of the same characters  at the same time.

6- Cinderella's Castle has 18 towers and it was all built by fibers of glass, no bricks are in it.

7- In the top of the Cinderella's Castle there is a room that was for Walt Disney and his family when they went to Florida. The room can't be rent and it is only opened in special cases or events.

8- The color of the entering floor of Magic Kingdom is red to pretend it is the red carpet, with the intention of receiving visitors like they are the guests of honor.
